BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support)
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, commonly known as CPR, is an emergency procedure performed in an effort to manually preserve intact brain function until further measures are taken to restore spontaneous blood circulation and breathing in a person who is in cardiac arrest. It is indicated in those who are unresponsive with no breathing or abnormal breathing, for example, agonal respirations.
Training Solutions’ BLS for Healthcare Providers is a hands-on course that includes performing and understanding the theory behind CPR for adults, children and infants. BLS also includes use of the AED (Automated External Defibrillator) as well as relief of choking procedures. This is a low-stress class that is fun and educational. An American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers certificate is given for all students who display a mastery of skills. Four (4) hours of Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) can be obtained by those who qualify.

First Aid is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
Advanced Cardiovasculer Life Support (ACLS) is an advanced, instructor-led classroom course that highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care. It also covers airway management and related pharmacology. In this course, skills are taught in large, group sessions and small, group learning and testing stations where case-based scenarios are presented.
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
PALS is a classroom, video-based, Instructor-led course using a series of simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation and team dynamics. The goal of the Pediatric Advanced Life Support Course is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes.
Training Solutions now offers an in-depth, comprehensive 3-day, 36 hour course that guarantees mastery of IV therapy in theory and practice. Course content includes topics such as universal precautions, preparation of IV equipment, choosing the correct vein, administering medication, blood withdrawal and infection control.
MABPRO (Management of Assaultive Behavior)
The Management of Assaultive Behavior (MABPRO) program is focused on the prevention and de-escalation of aggressive and violent behavior in the workplace. Understanding the psychology of why people do what they as well as properly assessing a potential threat is a critical component of this course. Also addressed, are ways to protect those in danger as well as oneself in the event that the situation becomes physical. MABPRO is the definitive workplace violence prevention program.
Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens Course is a classroom course that teaches employees how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials. This course is designed to meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific instruction.
